Hoping everyone is enjoying our start to January! If you live anywhere near me, you'd know that it has been freezing below temps (which isn't a surprise to us Minnesotans), and that we've gotten more than one dumping of snow. The snow part, I haven't minded in the slightest. To be quite honest, I love this time of year. I've never minded how the cold has left me cozying up inside coffee shops, staying in to binge watch Friends, and letting me live in sweaters 24/7. One thing that will never get old is watching snow fall. I've loved it since the time I was a little girl, and probably always will. There's just something about looking out a window, or driving at night, and seeing the flurries float around through the sky. It gives the dreariness of winter the taste of magic that it needs. Joel & I are (my dream of a fiancé who is kind enough to take blog photos for me) had already planned to go shoot a couple outfits for the blog, and when we got to the location it started dumping snow. Ask Joel if you don't believe me, I literally started dancing around like a little kid and attempting to catch all the snowflakes on my tongue singing about how happy I was that it was snowing. Not only was the snow beautiful, but it gave these photos a hint of winter bliss that made this shoot so fun!
This outfit in different renditions has become a day to day go to. Sweater, scarf, denim, and booties. Repeat.
If you are somewhere that is currently as cold as Minnesota is, I hope your staying cozy and warm! Only a few more months of the snow, going to do my best to enjoy it all while it's here.
